This highly intensive adolescent inpatient acute care program is designed to provide stabilization for adolescents, ages 11–17, in severe distress or exhibiting unsafe behavior. The inpatient program provides adolescents around-the-clock psychiatric care.

Poplar Springs Hospital makes every attempt to help patients transition back to their normal academic schedule. Adolescents will remain enrolled in their home school while they are in our program and may complete homework assignments if brought in by the school or family.
