Thresa Simon, M.D., MSHA — Medical Director
Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Dr. Simon is the Medical Director for the facility and oversees all the clinical services for the hospital. In addition, Dr. Simon is part of Virginia South Psychiatric and Family Services.
Dr. Simon received her medical degree from Stanley Medical College in Madras, India. She continued her training with an internship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va., and her residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Va. She also received a Master of Science in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Simon is Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry as well as Adult Psychiatry.
She is a member of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Psychiatric Association.

Muhammad Abbas, M.D.
Doctor of Medicine graduate from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. Residency in Psychiatry – Howard University Hospital, Washington D.C. Member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry & Licensed in Virginia to practice Medicine. Special interest in Mood disorders, Anxiety disorders, Trauma-related disorders, and substance use disorders.
Salman Siddiqui, M.D.
Dr. Siddiqui serves as our Clinical Director of Boys Residential Treatment Program. He received his medical degree from Dow Medical College, University of Karachi, Pakistan. He continued his education as a resident at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in Bronx, N.Y., and a fellow at University of Maryland in Baltimore, Md. He is Board Certified in Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Siddiqui is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and American Medical Association.
Mohammad Mubbsarhar, M.D.
Dr. Mubbsarhar received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Wah Medical College, Pakistan, and completed his adult psychiatric residency at Duke University Hospital. He served at a Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Mubbsarhar is licensed in Virginia to practice medicine and is board certified in adult psychiatry and board-eligible in child and adolescent psychiatry.
